"Most kids dream of scoring the perfect goal. I've always dreamed of stopping it."
Iker Casillas

ABOUT THE OWNER
Gus Valeriano
Gus has had a passion for goalkeeping since a very young age. When he started playing soccer (at age 4), Gus was not like all of the other kids. Rather than wanting to score the goals, he wanted to stop them. Since then, Gus has spent the rest of his life playing soccer as a goalkeeper. During his playing career, he has played for a consistent top 30 in the nation club team, a Division 2 school that played in one of the best conferences in the country, and in the USL 2 which is the highest amateur league during the summers of college. Recently, Gus was with the Philadelphia Union 2 getting to train every day with established MLS players from the Union's first team and getting the chance to be apart of first team goalkeeper training sessions. This passion has lead him into the world of coaching, hoping to help the next generation of goalkeepers experience the same success that he has. Gus has always had experience coaching, mostly throughout high school and college. He had always dreamed of a career playing soccer, since it is his greatest passion. It wasn't until recently that he realized that because of this, he needed to be involved in soccer one way or another. That is when his dream of coaching started. He currently is the Director of Goalkeeping for Real JFC, one of the top youth soccer clubs in South Jersey, and works with their goalkeepers that compete in leagues like MLS Next and EDP. His goal is to continue adding more goalkeepers to the Gus's Goalkeeping community and develop them into the best goalkeepers they can be!
